Will we ever walk together?
Can you forgive my fatal mistake?
Every breath that I take kills me,
Because you aren’t there anymore.
They say time heals all wounds
Is this the exception?
Are you lost to me forever, my love?
Don’t you want to hear my heart?
It screams out in pain and yearning every time you’re near
Do you hear it? Do you want too?
Do you hear it break every time you’re close?
The gut churning rip as its shredded?
Do you hear the subtle catch in my voice as I stop myself crying?
As I stop my self from throwing my self at you feet,
And begging your forgiveness.
As I catch the “I love you” before it escapes my lips.
Every second I live is torture its no less than I deserve.
Watching you try to love another
Watching how I ruined your life
Wanting to help you rebuild it and knowing I cant
Listen to your heart, people say
Mine only speaks of you.
What does yours say?
Do you hear it?
Do you hear mine?
Do you hear me?
