Verse:

The smoke sends a trail that can’t trace all the lines in your heart,
Yet you try to find yourself a new place where you can start over,
When you know, that no one here, knows your face

And the tear drops are empty so shallow and stale
The answers sound callous and the promise is frail
But nobody said that the end would be worth all the pain that you feel, right, now

Yet the struggle seems willing to follow your lead and for-go
All the petty things that we fought for oblivious tolls
And bring us back, to the point of no return

So push a little harder and step on my toes
Pretend that the letters are found and disposed of
Every little thing that they said could be jaded and drab, for, me

Chors/Bridge:

I can see the change (I can see the change)
In your eyes (in your eyes)
Pushes me away (pushes me away)
Don’t ask why (don’t ask why)
I can’t change you but I swear I’ll try
(For you I’ll die)

End Verse (Fade):

Now the only thing left here is reckless abandon and pills
All these empty boxes that our memories used to fill
And this apartment, is obsessed with a past I can’t, leave behind.
