In dreams I see what I cannot have
Just beyond my grasp, she dances
Her hair falls in bounds and leaps
I see her but she dances still

I call to her, I beckon
She lingers there for what seems an eternity
Slowly she turns to me
Face half hidden by a shadow

Instead she calls to me
"Follow" she says
"Join me and let our spirits be one"
So I dance

Until the end of time we hang there
Listless and mute
There is no rythym, just release
As she guides my hand with hers

She pulls me closer
I feel her all around me
She doesn't seem to notice what I do
And she guides my hand with hers

I stare, incoherently breathing
My breaths grow shallow as I try to keep the pace
I seem to be regressing
My limbs become stone

I am paralyzed by her
I watch as she draws nearer
Her kiss is a mist, cool to the touch
And when I open my eyes

I am born anew

This was incredible. Talk about a spiritual sense and drowning in the thought of your lovely words.. They seemed to coil around my heart and hold me in restraints. ~Mirrored
