A beautiful white rose lays adorned with silver petals

high atop of the cathedral lying a little too close to the end...

Her stem picked clean of her leaves and thorns

she lies there still and bare for the world to see.

An unbearable silence that graces the air,

seems like a night filled with madness and stares.

Not a single tear nor imperfection leaves her grace.

She just lays there naked with no emotions on her face.

The wind begins to pick up and blows over her fragile form

moving her closer and closer to the end of the edge causing her to feel at last

as her body leaves the stone pillars, she decides its time to break free.

A beautiful white rose adorned with silver petals

is spiraling downward from the cathedral up top.

Meant to be the bond between two lovers

ending up being the sever that broke them in two.

A forgiving boy and a self-concious girl

promised to be forever, lost to one another.

Believing that each other was their poison, they spilt apart.

The rose was their love. Pure, bare and clean.

They gave each other everything

hoping to show one another exactly what they mean.

Torn apart for their bitter silences, they drifted away.

Leaving behind the rose adorned with silver petals as the memoir for them both

The rose that promised that their love for each other always came first.

Just as their love for one another died,

the white rose adorned with silver petals

turned black as its bud shattered to the ground and cried.
