Silver arrow...
adorned upon your heart.
You feel yourself lost...
between light and dark.

Your Concious badgering you,
to hold on tight,
I know you're afraid of continuing on,
for life is very cruel.

I don't wish to lie to you by saying everything is alright.

So I'm singing to you this lullaby, to help you understand [why]

There's alot of pain, hurt and misery out there
but don't stray from your path.

For when there's evil, there is also good.

So you have to understand,
life isn't perfect but it often balances out.

And despite what you think, not everyone is the same [I swear it]

So I'm singing to you this lullaby... so you will never forget [why]

This deserves more comments. I love the directness of this piece, like honest advice in poetry form, the meter is quite gorgeous and the 1st stanza grabs you and never lets go as you are drawn into the rest of the poem. -Carl
