My whole life, I lived.
Half a life; Shadowless.
To look at the ground
And not see your shadow there
Think about that now.

Ghosts have no shadow
Until you meet that person,
You are a ghost too
That person that completes you
Is your true shadow.

Everyone has one
You take yours for granted, right?
Everyone does that.
You look around and it's there.
Beside you always.

Some of you won't see...
Or will refuse to know it.
Understanding costs.
Understanding WILL hurt you.
That pain brings knowledge.

We separated.
This brought my knowledge to me.
Her love shone through me.
An ocean between us now,
Still I feel her here

this was lovely... seperation often cements feelings we often overlook making them crystal clear in our longing...i love seeing the softer side of people and this made me smile ~kristy

Blunt and to the very point. "Understanding costs.." Ah, now that, that is a pure truth. Powerful display, directly affecting. Well done. ~b
