The sky cracks overhead and a flash of purple exposes me...
laying thoughtless beside the road as I watch the weather,
I'm oblivious to the world.
Too many times...
Too many times have I died, have I seen myself fall.
I'm paralyzed.
The fear of failure, or maybe the atrophy from pain holds me down...
down to the slick grass.
I saw you coming...
Your color was black.
I saw you crying...
your tears were blue.
I remember you loving me...
our color is red.

Definately Maynard-esque. Dream like, so I guess we really couldn't know. Well, color me impressed. Nice work.

Wow. Short but very powerful. I know how you feel. Thanks for finally exposing your beautiful words to us again!
