The city stops here,
Where the light no longer shows
and a calming hum of engines
is the only sound to know.

A metaphor for something,
he's too away to see,
the monsters of the wild
or the demons of the free.

The city stops at night,
always, and never in the day
the shadows of the evil
bring the wicked back to stay.

Corrupted and contaminated,
this sea of serpents thrive
escaping all this, not so simple...
it's far too far to drive.
