Swirling nothingness
Is the core of my being
Gravity weighing in
Crushing me to a depth
Of substandard being

I try to dig out
Of my self-made grave
A prison with no bars
But the shadows of my heart

Gravity of my deeds breaking me

I feel the slithering kiss
Sliding up my arm
Fangs in my veins
Pumping the poison

I'm only alive
When I'm so close to death
