Life is opressive
Depression is opressive
Hate is opressive
Hope is opressive

Where can I find just a little bit of freedom

I'd like so much
To have just a moment of clarity
To have the ability
To smile

Doubt lingers on
My right to happiness
REVOKED

I've done it to myself
Does that mean I deserve it
Will you live for a touch of serenity

That's all you're likely to get

Forgive me for my lack of enthusiasm
Bear with me
Or tell me to FUCK OFF!

I'm sorry I can't give you what you need
So please,stop wasting your time

I'm opressed by my own inabilty to care

I like this poem....I love the last line because the content of the poem makes it obvious to the reader that you actually do care....this makes the last a lie....I like lies....I've allways thought contridictions make for good art...
