Another one hit the ground
And they knew they were better
Even though they were nothing special
We've got hope, they said

Hope failed them
And they spit out the dust
They cried
As the world laughed

The sky's the limit
Until the earth envelops you
What's the use of trying
When you've been below

You've seen the hatred
Love has crushed you
Turn away
Walk away

You're not better
Hope says so
You're not special
Hope failed you
