furtive muse of the corner eye.
murder my conscience with gospel nude.
birth me robin eggs of violet flash.
within its shell, a pocket tigress to pace.
astrological axioms on shell pink palms.
a map to Atlantis felled, arisen?
though splintered the sky and not the sea.
its history raining from cumolonimbus dreams.
cotton products of an artist's tantrums.
tectonic shake of a lover's wrath.

muse, clandestine your tongue to mine eye.
seer sight awoke the London Beast.
flanks heaving with vagrants forgotten.
nudging cobblestones in rabbana thunder.
pulsing the puddles on abandoned paths.
sprinkled with cadavers of pageant princesses.
skin with hand indentations of charming thieves.
their pouches jangling with ruby hard hearts.
blushing under the night's thousand winks.
the blueprints of a careless spill.

surreptitious, muse your fingers wove.
wrapping flesh in ethereal desire.
contortions of mid-orgasm stun.
your shadow hides the lepers deep.
your sigh oh muse, sends warriors a-shiver.
weathered hands hooked on empty sheaths.
musclebound cupid of red javelin.
armageddon fought with laced valentines.

muse, delusory at best.
devour me, cancerous slow.
your abode these mirrors, ashamed.
to mask the blight
of which they do not know.

it's hard to really start a poem and finish a poem so originally, that ascertains its own weight and dimension in a nameless time...the opening pyschological pressure of the 'furtive muse' (inner self)...and the esoteric but relatable use of mirror/reflec

reflection/conscious self=muse, etc...such is the language's twists that the poem would be in danger of self-indulgently losing itself, but credit to your ability to carefully attune each line as not to hamper it...

i read this yesterday but had no time to comment. the second stanza was gripping. i also liked "surreptitious, muse your fingers wove. wrapping flesh in ethereal desire." the way that sounds when read out loud is amazing. the whole piece is astounding.
