All I could taste was your spit
And the glass in my throat...

You kissed me with a sharded tongue,
Cut me up inside...
... Left me spilling open.

I knew that I was no longer safe here.

When the veins begin to surface
And the lines all start to show
You look through my thinning skin,
Plastered underneath are the holes
of injections,
You doled out, left infections..
The scabs all turn to black
I peel away and you attack.

Your disease runs through my blood
Cold and white and cruel.
Your mouth is like a guillotine,
Chopping off the head of a fool.

So stupidly, I trusted you.
Gave you everything,
You never gave a damn.
And when it's time for truth,
You show me nothing..

...You just let go of my hand.
