I read you oh so well.
un-masking your every flaw,
critiquing words before you speak,
knowing all your dirty little thoughts.

Does that scare you?
Realizing that I am in your head.
Seeing as I knew your intentions,
and I still let you take advantage of me

We both know this game all too well.
Perfected the art of playing,
even when our hearts are on the line.

Lie to me baby.
Tell me I'm better than her.
It might seem shallow,
but it's what I need to hear.

Say you prefer in depth conversation,
as opposed to porn star tits.
This is a horrible trend,
but I'm making a fashion statement.

You're just plagiarism of my past.
What does it matter anyway?
We are both doomed to make the same mistakes over.

You're destined to cheat,
and I will fall inlove with you.
We only gravitate to things with the potential of being self-destructive.
That's just how the game goes sweetie.

The cards are printed with blood,
the dice are bone fragments.
You and I, are really one in the same.
Regardless, of if you admit it or not.

We wrote each other,
and I promise you.
You won't have a happy ending.

Damn. This was a crushing blow to the illusory synergy that some create for themselves. Well done. ~b

The harsh truth to the intriguing game. How we know, and still keep falling. I too enjoyed the metaphors, and appreciate the sentiment of plagiarised pasts tainting that to come.
