It spreads threw me,
Consuming, destroying,
Everything I use to be.
I’m melting away,
All my insecurities exposed.
And fragments of a broke heart,
Fall to the floor.
Living under the microscope now,
Because I couldn’t keep up my act.
The smile has faded,
The laugh gave out under the tears.
And I ran off shielding crying eyes.
There’s no safe place now,
And I’ve run out of pills that made me feel alive.
Nobody wants to pry,
Ignorance is best.
If they knew,
If they only knew.
