it comes in the night, while the world sleeps.
that little memory, in your mind creeps.
it comes in a crowded room, while they sit in view.
that little longing, that just grabs hold of you.
it comes in the morning, when you awake alone.
that little imprint in the mattress, that use to make you feel at home.
it comes on a warm summer day, while you walk along a familiar street.
that little glimpse, of where you use to meet.
it comes with a tap on the shoulder, while they just wanted to say hello.
that little twang in your heart, that makes you want to beg them not to go.
it comes with a turned back, while they leave and say goodbye.
that little de javu, that makes you want to die.
it comes with a lonely night, when the cold bites.
that little feeling of emptiness, while you remember warmer nights.
