since when my ancient
sister
did you become the
keeper
of my secrets?
spouting words of madness
into the face of
those with eyes already
stoned
without unity
we are doomed
within the hearts of the
familiar we are exposed
other fears escalate
alone-
ness
will snuff out our
love
light
extinguish the one
selfish necessity we all need:
each other
