I sit reading your latest message and it appears to be your last
The past four hours have been some of the most grueling I have ever witnessed
For nothing in the past has compared to the loss of another loved soul
It may seem strange on the surface
I benefited from you, in no way, physically
But knowing you offered your advice with problems I had
Any questions
Meant a lot to me
Filled an otherwise huge void in the center of my ... center
I knew where we stood and respected you
More every time I heard your voice
Your kind words and tender soul
And despite occasional disagreements
Always had a smile to represent
We shared many special moments
Where I revealed my deepest and darkest secrets
As painful as it could be
Yet your warm soothing grip was strong
And stroked my heartache tenderly
Now it seems times have changed
All the games have been played
Bridges burnt and boundaries crossed
You seem so content with saying goodbye
Leaving me out to dry
While you continue your unhappy life without me
Perhaps I should accept the fact that my fate has shaped this way
I obviously did not write script, just am forced to play the part
And feel the pain of another characters pen break off
Fall to the floor and bleed it's crimson death
But it's merely reviving itself, becoming stronger and broader
It's me that is dead and dying
Slowly and miserably rotting
And always from within
Perhaps you saw that it was too much to handle
Or that you seen something within me that you liked
Made you love me more than you could afford to
And decided to cut out the unfinished plastered floor
From under my feet
Maybe I loved you too well cause to this day
Anything you say I would never hold against you
It's all okay with me
I would take the fall for you any day
Simply anything you say
Anytime you feel the need
To open up your heart to me
Let the words spill from your heavenly beautiful lips....
