Linzi left me cold one night for Las Vegas,
Left a letter saying she saw no future here

Who dream of getting laid
That we were to distant,

I don't hate Linzi,

But I have yet to hear a thing
Yet I still pray Mrs. Katerndahl is holding up
Now as I walk up and down breathing the ocean air
Here on it's shoreline, the guilt weighs so much here

Linzi's face always glowed, I used to love how she was together
Yet somewhere I went wrong and now she's under The Bright Lights
Linzi's staying on a roll, I think of her smiling forever
Her life so adjusted, While I lay sleepless at night

I should be happy for you Linzi
But how badly do I want you home?
