She tore down the sky last night
And she took all of the stars with her
Gravity failed..
She dragged her nails through the horizon
And watched it slowly peel away..
Unconscious with her pulse racing
As the burning dusk
Turned a shade of grey..
She lived, slept and breathed
Life in Mono
And she woke in derelict dreams..
