I want a balloon
The shade of the sky
I want a balloon
Of robin’s egg dye

It cannot be red
It cannot be green
It has to be blue
And only that hue

I’ve wanted to soar
Above all the clouds
I’ve wanted to tease
And smile at crowds

When I see your home
(The loveliest chrome)
I’ll no longer roam
The winds that have blown

I’ll pop my balloon
And fall from the skies
Right into your arms
My own paradise
