When I look up at the sky
It’s like being someplace else
Where the grass isn’t littered
Broken glass and strung out kids
On who knows what (planet or plane)

When I look up at the sky
I think that maybe it’s not strange
To believe and want to fly

I know you cannot blame me
For wanting to rise higher
Above the troubles of the world
Horny boys and screaming girls

Life isn’t giggles and fun
It’s a weight that weighs a ton
It’s so much it brings you down
Then you’re lying on the ground
And you’re staring at the sky

Refreshing. Don't ever stop attempting to overcome gravity. It's the attempts that count. Nicely written. ~Ship!
