Shifting shadows
Like sifting sand
A liquid breeze
Mist in the air

Heightened senses
Body tenses
A breath there
But who is there

Shifting shadows
And lurking ghosts
Cannibal children
And undead hosts

Ghastly horrors
Foggy mirrors
Unclear futures
And murky pasts

Horrid secrets
Have you seen it
Ugly monsters
Watch them fester

Shifting shadows
Best beware
Skulking demons
What a scare
