Somewhere on the tides
There is a dove forever waiting
For its lover
See how it hovers
Before the waters
Threatening to dive
And meet an icy death
It is searching
It is lurking
In the depths of the deep blue
It is wanting and confronting
All its fears before they brew
Like cauldron’s stew to haunt him
Of his love forever missing
Is she hiding in the white of the waves
Waiting for her lover, forever searching
Death’s dark hand casts long shadows on the sea
The end is near, he means to be sincere
He might end it now, would they defend it now
To be together, forever, in heaven or hell
The dove is searching for his lover
Till his last gasp is breathed
And he falls into the waters
Where he’ll live and find his love beneath the seas
