You cut through paper hearts
Like a little girl with stationary
You’re cruel and you know it
And you are more than willing to show it

I’m draining these words from within
You’d tried to drain my energy
Your love is only black and white
A golden light or darkened night

You only lie to feed
Sadistic soul you’d watch them bleed
You live to create pain
Horrid beast that ought to be slain

And it seems you’ll never be tamed
Victimizing the weak
Vain enough to think you’re unique
Are you proud of your fame

But one day nobody will fall for it
Into your hapless pit
So do not forsake us
Broken butterfly with wings of fire

And when we thought you’d rise no higher
In your upturned world that you adore
You finally realized how dire
And poisonous were your desires

And now you wish to escape
Martyr of your own cruel fate
You may run and you may hide
You’ll find your fears deep inside

"You cut through paper hearts Like a little girl with stationary" that part caught my attention right away. made me smile, even though i know that goes against the whole poem. i just read that part over and over. lovely.
