“Goodbye friend,” said the demons in the night
You’d never be afraid of such a fright
Hideous faces, but you see smiles
Even if there was darkness for miles
Because your chums would scare away most souls
Yet you refuse to abandon those trolls
And one day you’ll find yourself all alone
Disregarded like a dog’s old chew bone
You shy away from all things that are good
And make your empty house in this falsehood
I tried to save you but it is too late
You’re at the mercy of a horrid fate
Lurk in the dark for the rest of your life
Become the monster that caused you this strife
