Follow me to a darker place
Where bats and birds all writhe in lace
Every friend has a faceless face
In this dreadfully wondrous place

We would travel through darkened halls
Where every creature comes to crawl
And we would all fall limp like dolls
And meet our death in darkened halls

Black widows come to eat our souls
Throw our bodies in beds of coal
And our eyes become lifeless holes
The memories and hearts we stole

No one would notice we were gone
In the end we are all just pawns
Weary victims of Satan’s spawn
Horrid, hellish phenomenon

We’ve all been used; it’s one big game
But who has right to lay the blame
Done twice it would turn out the same
The nameless names that life has claimed

Demise would seem a paradise
This is your chance to roll the dice
Get snake eyes and you’ll pay the price
Are you willing to sacrifice?

Your rhyming scheme in this is quite articulate.. I particularly liked "Follow me to a darker place Where bats and birds all writhe in lace".. nicely done.

I have a rhyming dictionary. :) Is that cheating?
