Do you see me in your nightmares?
Forever present in your dreams
Black shadow loom over your heart
Learn to accept the vile darkness

Hideous monster
Your only escape
No doors are open
The windows are locked

Watch over the world around you
But you’ll not play a part in it
I will make sure
No thoughts, numb heart

Do not resist
You’ll never win
Just surrender
It hurts at first

Soon it will be
A part of the everyday
Eating your flesh
Mind is deteriorating

A dark red paint
Dry on the wall
It tastes like blood
But you did it

And guilt won’t come
Because it can’t
It’s locked inside
A wintry world

How many coats of crimson gore
Painted onto your rotting house
Hark to a voice
At the back of your consciousness

“Solely one more soul
Would never matter
They wouldn’t miss them
They didn’t miss me”
