We’re all lost
Blind and deaf
Lame and dumb

But we never try to fix it
We only whimper and complain
It’s either insane or mundane

But do you ever feel satisfied?
Constantly longing for so much more
Always waiting on a golden shore

Eat your own words
The waves eat you
Eat you alive

But they don’t chew they swallow
You aren’t worthy of their time
Another snack in the day

As the acid burns your skin
All the sharks can smell your blood
They are watching and waiting

And your eyes burst wide open
To find it was a mere dream
Life is a dream for the dead

But we are all lifeless
Dead inside or dying
No cure, we’ve stopped trying

Yes, yes, that would apparent this is just an over-generalization.
