I used to be bright
I used to give out light
But then…
It was bedtime.
A gust of wind rushed at me from all sides!
And I was gone…
Just a blown-out candle flame.

You’d think I would have disappeared,
Well, I did,
But I was still there.
Just a blown-out candle flame.

It’s a somber life,
The life I have.
I watch the world go by
But nothing,
Stops to watch me.
Just a blown-out candle flame.

What am I?
A wisp of Naught.
I have eyes you can’t see
And a voice you can’t hear.
Just a blown-out candle flame.

I wander through the darkened halls
Of the mansion I once lived in
A lonely ghost which has no soul
A blown-out candle flame.
