On the outside I look cheery
But looks can deceive
Deep inside I hurt and bleed
The wounds so deep my soul they feed

With poison that is so rotten
My happiness has been forgotten
And the pain it keeps on
Dawn to dusk and dusk to dawn

But until I’m buried in the ground
Until my heart ceases to pound
Until my body starts to fester
I’ll pretend to be a joking jester
