I was walking through a graveyard
When something caught my eye
A hand was jutting out the ground
And reaching for the sky

As I ventured ever closer
I stopped only to find
A branch had snatched my dress
And was pulling me behind

I turned around to fix my dress
But the hand had grabbed my leg
It dragged me to beneath the ground
Despite my screaming beg

But now that I am down here
My anguish makes me squirm
I wonder if you’ll be the next
To be dragged to hell to burn

I love zombie movies. That aside, bouncy like a severed eyeball. You already know I'm a fan.

Very Nice. The rhyme was a great, plus it had dark imagery which is always good.

I like this poem -the image of the hand reaching out of the earth and grabbing. Rhymes well too.
