One foggy night
On Hollow’s Eve
There was a rumbling and a grumbling
From the basement door

There was a very little girl
And she wondered what it was
So she slowly and carefully tip-toed to the door
Then she ever so cautiously opened up the door
And she walked inside without a single word

We’ll never really know what happened to that girl
Or why she walked inside without a single word
But every Hollow’s Eve from the basement door
Comes a screaming and a wailing like you’ve never heard before
