For all the times
You’ve helped me
And worked to gain my trust
For all the times
You’ve moved me
To tears, however suppressed
For all the times
Your hug meant something
And you worked past my wall
For all the times
You’ve ever said anything
That meant anything at all
For all the times
You’ve told me something
That had previously ceased to bless another’s ears
For all the times
Your eyes spoke
Perhaps, of uneasiness about the passing years
For everything you are
I thank you
With the entirety of my heart
