i dance on stepping stones down the blood brick alley.
passing broken crack-pipes to the rapist next door.
climbing up and down caution-chalked stairwells.
just to sit beside moon-kissed murder victims.

i lurk behind the shattered glass windshield.
tossing back molotov cocktails with a transvestite terrorist.
clawing for air beside crazed cannabalistic children.
sitting beside you with your dying word.

your heart is twisted and encrusted with clarity.
if only i had taken a bigger bite.

There are some poems which one does not understand but feel because it narrates and sings of something that is dark, lonely and without a face. I liked this very much.
