i wish to write a poem.
the one that everyone remembers.
because it was just that moving.
and it reduced them to tears.
it brings back memories.
and creates a feeling that rivals no other.
not even love.
because no one loves without expectation.
but the poem made you think it possible.
you had never heard such beautiful words.
and it could most certainly be set to a melody.
but i'm not sure how to put it together.
or if i even can.
but i'll sure as hell try.
i'll be damned if i don't.
if only, if only...
words could convey what i'm trying to say.
