He watched as it flickered
Touched by a wind unseen
Unfelt by everything else
It twisted and turned
Shadows dancing on their own accord
But what secrets do they hide?
It glided through the air
Like fingertips touching skin
Breathed whispers -
Gently caressing...
Soft features of his face
Enhanced madness -
Calmed by dim lighting
Such downplayed beauty
It swooped and it rose
Moving with unnatural life
What grace he gave to it
Giving energy from his own breath
Lips brushing...air
Causing the being to melt
Shrinking to a puddle...
The shadows creeping back
Into their mournful dreams
The being flickering...out
Collapsing dead - perfect grace -
From the absense of his eyes
