Love has failed
When you no longer feet your heart beat
Strong and bold
Instead it softens to a quiet flutter
Love has failed
When you wake up in the morning thinking

And you go to bed each night hoping it'll be the last

When you constantly feel tired
Drained if simply everything
Struggling to breathe
Love has failed
When you become society's drone
Refusing to fight for something you no longer see
Walking blindly to your death
Love has failed
When the rain is just wet
The sunshine is just light
And in-between is just reality
Love has failed
When you no longer cry
Tears dried to non-existent
Becoming a constant rash
Love has failed
When you simply cease to feel
