Dear,Love

I apologize,
If I was a better man
I would have noticed your affection sooner,
And then we might have had a chance.
Forgive me for being a blind fool,
I was so in love I paid attention to nothing but my heart.

Though I am still in love,
[And trust me it’s head over heels]
I learned my lesson.
My heart is important
But not as much as yours.

                    -Yours Truly, Madly, deeply.
                                          Jonathan

jeesh...putting another soul's heart before your own, protecting their pieces before you'll think of protecting yourself...that kind of love, that form of caring, is always beautiful. This piece, though short, is amazing. ~*Beth*~
