Language slows my thoughts down
to that of a gawker's pace
Breathing slow, i'll hang my head
so no on can see my face
because it was always there; hidden in sight
you were the rose whose scent was delight
surrounded by lotus blossums, hiding from the sun
under an umbrella:
with pictures of my face on it

and looking back, i start to attack
the notion of belonging i started to attach to
the sight of you, the taste of you
the back of my mind when i hated you
the passive banter
silent answers
and four letter words like: true
