I open up my soul to you
You tear it to shreds
I feel the pain
Feel it endlessly
This love that you call real
The torment and hostility
That binds you to me
Sends me spiraling uncontrollably
Toward desperation
Silence is my answer
Living stoically through the pain
Knowing someday it all will end
Someday I will be brave enough
To break away again
