The game we play
Pulls me in
With simple words
You draw me near
I long for touch, for fear and pain
All the things to play the game
You bait me with simplicity
The way you see
Inside my soul
My words you twist
You bend and break
All in this game I need to play
I try to walk away somehow
To hide within the fog
Shrinking from the fire
Yet desire burns on faithfully
Pleasure disguised as pain
All parts of the game
Temptation calls on steadily
Bidding I come near
Drawing me closer
To the web you spin
With expert precision
You trap me in the game
Silently I question
Words lost in translation
Leading me blindly through
The anguish and frustration
All the time longing
For the game we choose to play
