I wish I knew
From where you come
For then I could determine
To where I go

Right now I know
Not where to go
Or how to feel
I’m almost numb

But then the mention
Of your name
A captured glance
Of your image

I lose myself
In loneliness
Dreaming again
Of you

The only love
I truly felt
It seems lost now
In desperation

I dream a dream
So long remembered
So long lost
It goes on forever

Is there life
Again with you
Or is it just
A passing view

I just wish I knew.
