she moves imperceptibly
a whisper in the wind
senses tingle
with each silent step
moving ever closer
danger burns...
weaves like the flames
erupting from this fire
spitting tension on
flickering shadows
edging ever nearer
fueled by her musk
anticipation binds
sharpened apprehension
ties my soul in knots
my obsession
so near..
sinews taught
teeth clenched
fingers twitch
heartbeat harder
i will possess!
wait...
listen!
i
can
almost
hear
her....breathe
