    they say
beauty is in the eye of the beholder
yet the blind lead humanity
into the waiting room of critic gallery
unseen ignorance
of capitalist melancholy
i dwell
with meandering thoughts
of life outside this shell

gaze upon
pandora’s box
 peer
intriguing stares
through the windows
 of our souls
only to see
truth
only to see
disillusion
time to awaken
open your eyes
to a revolution

- original piece has all the gee's missing, unfortunatly it was difficult for some to wrap their minds around the image i was projecting. so for now i have reentered them in this altered state.

lol very well written. Indeed, disillusion is amongst us, with a force. A revolution would be one hell of a thing to see, but really all I can see from my viewpoint is another President about to be impeached....

that may be a problem, no one can see beyond the president... a symptom ...of deeper problems.

but that's like slapping the wrists of a puppet. The puppet master is just going to find another puppet to dance before our eyes. Revolution can only happen when the great work force of America says, "we've had enough!"...

and every single one of us walks away from our jobs and marches on the capital; they cannot ignore us when their economy is at a stand-still. We make this nation, not them. It's been happening for hundreds of years, and I don't think...

it's going to change any time soon. Yes, we go through these changes and shifts in society where we stir from our coma-like slumber and protest when something extremely is bad about to happen, but then we go right back to sleep..

great example... WhiteWall... In the ten-year period of the sixties, when revolutionists were stirring the masses, JFK, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Sr. AND Jr. were all executed by people who did NOT want things to change..

lol the war has been at home on stolen, blood-stained soil since us white-folk set foot on this Native Land. ;) sorry, I can definitely go off on a rant at times. I guess it shows, lol

I sense incredible power and uprisings just beyond the horizon after reading this. This was very cleverly written, awsome job. ~Ship!
