reality has blinded me
i feel as if my eyes are stitched shut
and i cant see opertunity

i have to fight to stay alive-fight myself
knowing im the diamond in the dirt and wont be found

so ill take off the mask and let it all collapse
my humility is a bruise that stings like a first divorce

life is priceless. talk is cheap
speaking over beats is the only time i feel complete
i dont hear the the weak and dont fear defeat

i cut up my hands in the dark and just sat there and bled

to you im alive, but to the world im dead

look at what sick ridiculous puppets we are
i feel like im a legend on a leash

making an effort to break every piece that i can reach
yea i got somthing to say and even more to teach

standing on the roof, complaining to the moon
the only time i tell the truth is when im in my bedroom

i should rob a pet store and let all the dogs run wild
i should close all the schools to let the kids smile,,,

for a moment,
or,

lets stand on the corner and throw rocks at people
so theres no surprises written off as evil

i sleep next to a man that i dont deserve
he likes to hurt my pride. while im fucking with his nerves

but ive realized

the sky is to high to hold
and to thick to pet
im spending all my time full of regret
and i forget

time is money . every moment is costly

so i ration my emotion
because existance exhausts me

imagine waking up to the fact that you are just simply entertainment

judge the tree by both sides of the leaf..

save your soul spend your money
laugh at jokes and pretend they're funny

believe in karma truth and honor
respect the youth
understand the drama

think about your move before you make it
see the motive for the infor and advice before you take it

find some time to celebrate and meditate
i havent heard all this talking in a while
bull shit im still broke and faking the smile

im begging for attention to be left alone

This write screams maturity, and comfort within thin walls. Break out girl, go mad. And relax with the piercings.

damn. i was stuck on that last line for a bit. i like it. the whole piece was just amazing. such a great flow to it...rhyming in certain parts... and ...well i cant go into details cuz then i'd comment on every line. but i enjoyed every single word of this.

I remember you reading this to me. I still love it. I think "time is money . every moment is costly" is my favourite line. I love the whole work though. The irony in the kids' lack of education for thatmoment of happiness, the pets running loose into the dangers of civilization. Great write Danni. -Trigger
