Wounded.
Lost in the sea of chaos.
Trapped in my own lucid dreams.
Seeking truths told by none.
Stumbling through the paths,
Scratched and bruised by their trials.

Exchange one addiction for another.
Sexuality frozen in time.
Sensuality without fail.

Locked in the shell.
The mask unable to be removed.
How easy it is to lose oneself,
in the echoes of time.

Slowly healing.
Taking time to know.
Taking time to see.
Allowing emotions to be released.
Fearing all, and fearing nothing.

I am my own release.

Wonderful to break free, writing a good way to release...speeds the process that can take so long. Outside sources just often don't cut it.

A pounding poem, short but speaking volumes in its many excellent lines. Welcome to DP!
