You spit it out in compromise
But you did not realize
the taste is with your forever
hemlock and velvet leather
a seed within a dried up womb
without saline, a morphine tomb
introspective numb
ultra violent hum

reading a book about
social engineerings
the authors killing prostitutes
Sunday presbyterian

Swallow now in earnest greed
the baptists come to see you heed
and he likes nothing better
hemlock and velvet leather
glass ground in hidden straps
now shines with red, the audience claps
WHORES can be replaced
Your Prozac was always laced

Good Morning Sunshine..

Awesome. Even more powerful than they're meaning, I thought, was just the sound of the words you strung together. You must be a songwriter, no? Anyway, I enjoyed this. It was fun to read aloud. Write on, and welcome.
