Hand me the knife dear
carving out peace
cut off my eyelids
rested release

Seen through a haze of red
you look so beautiful

cut yourself for me
on you I'll feed
we cut us until
I find myself freed

Skin made of celluloid
Pictures of rituals
fettered strings exposed to me
nylon or leather
from pop compose tired ideas
symphonies repeating
a river eating children
I watched you drown
