solitude
fuel for my wandering thoughts
enter:knight in shining armour
sweet nothings fed to me
sonnets of love
my mind takes the next step
my heart takes his hand
leads the way into the clouds
slowly he gathers me in his arms
sweet kisses
traveling from lips to neck
and back up, leaving a ring of fire
soft sighs as I snuggle in deep
his strong arms
wrapped tightly around me
contentment calms my features
slows my heart
as i gradually fade back to reality
continue about my daily chores
one more piece of my shattered heart
mended by sweet daydreams
of his everlasting love

Sure as shit beats "Calgon take me away!" Lovely backdrop to the hardships of reality.

I like the way you made that gradation to reality while the feeling was simply too desired. And the background love is really well felt in here. Good work.
